Why was there always something appealing about that colour? The sound of it, rolling off the tongue like the deep blue waves crashing on the cliffs and steadily growing taller. A four letter word that stands out boldly on the page and chills you like the touch of cobalt. In the ear drum blue is a screaming mass of lost souls. Blue are the walls that contain your finger marks and blood from when you tried to claw through solid basalt. It’s the ink which you use to write laments of lost love on torn, parched, yellowing scrolls.
